Russian Nicknames of Computer Players – at Esports Sphere Games Conventions

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the origin of e-sports names. An attempt is made to present a typology of nicknames depending on what is included in the basis of the nomination (real name, phrase, elements of vernacular, the realities of the game itself, current events). About three hundred examples, divided into several groups, were analysed.
