Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the identification of Maciek Borkowic, father of Fredhelm and Catherine. It has been proved that he was a son of Borek of Grodzisk and a nephew of the famous palatine Maciej Borkowic, and that his son Fredhelm was a different person than his contemporary Fredhelm von Weissenburg (Wezenborg).
