Environmental risk management in the enterprise as a way to support the development of green economy

Summary/Abstract: Through taken actions a man, especially in the economic sphere, makes negative impact on the environment. Hence, more and more often a voice is raising that in the existing economic system, some changes, which would result in an decrease of pressure from economic activities on the environment should be made. One of the tools that under proper implementation is likely to provide the stated aim is environmental risk management. Therefore, the aim of this article is to explain the role of environmental risk management in the current development aimed for building a resource-efficient and low-carbon economy (green economy).
