Specific characteristics of the insurance premium and insurance benefits of life insurance

Summary/Abstract: The specific characteristics of the insurance premium and insurance benefits under unit-linked life insurance are examined in the article. The underlying feature of this insurance is that the investments in selected assets according to Art. 457 of the Insurance Code are at the risk of the insured. This determines some special features in relation to the net insurance premium and the formation of the insurance benefit payments.
